Ambetter from NH Healthy Families to Discontinue Marketplace Coverage in New Hampshire For 2027 Plan Year

Ambetter from NH Healthy Families will discontinue its Marketplace product offering in New Hampshire for the 2027 plan year, effective Dec. 31, 2026.

This change applies only to Ambetter from NH Healthy Families. NH Healthy Families (Medicaid) and Wellcare PDP (Medicare Prescription Drug plans) will remain in effect in New Hampshire.

What this Means for Providers

• Providers may continue to service members with Ambetter from NH Healthy Families through Dec. 31, 2026.
• There will be no changes to your Participating Provider Agreement (Agreement) as a result of this notice.
• Ambetter from NH Healthy families will notify enrolled members of this change and their available options. Providers should not proactively reach out to members regarding this notice.

Member Transition Information

• Ambetter from NH Healthy Families members will have access to covered services through Dec. 31, 2026.

• Impacted members can enroll in a new plan starting on Nov. 1 during Open Enrollment and must enroll by Dec. 15, 2026,to ensure Jan. 1 coverage.
• The Health Insurance Marketplace Open Enrollment period runs from Nov. 1, 2026, through Jan. 15, 2027.

Claims and Administration

• Claims for dates of service on or before December 31, 2026 will be processed by Ambetter from NH Healthy Families.
• Reminder: Be sure to submit claims according to the timely filing requirements within your Agreement.
