Personal secret to success: I'm focused on and passionate about ensuring I can guide my clients to choose the best healthcare plan for their needs. My strong work ethic, ACA knowledge, and being connected and dedicated to my clients always leads to the next referral. Time management is a key to my success during the Open Enrollment period. In our office, Open Enrollment starts in September when we contact each of our existing clients to update us with any changes in their address, income, and family size. After the Open Enrollment period, I’ll help them with requested documents from the Marketplace. In addition, I'm always there after Open Enrollment to help with qualifying event cases. Despite the heavy demand during this period, I stay on the three way call with the Marketplace and insurance carriers to ensure that I solve my client's personalized issues. I am passionate about being an advocate for my clients, and making sure their needs and interests are best met.

What tips would you offer a new broker interested in selling Affordable Care Act (ACA) plans? Be up to date and knowledgeable about all of the different health plans available and make sure you are providing client-focused guidance.

What do you like best out Ambetter plans? Health management programs and awards for annual physicals and flu shots.

What Ambetter plan features resonate best with your clients? i.e.- My Health Pays program, rates, network, etc.: Rates

How do you generate new leads? Our Agency is all referral based.

How do you ensure your clients make their binder payment? During the Open Enrollment, I'll collect the binder payment and make sure to setup auto payment for the New Clients, and after Open Enrollment for the existing clients, I check my Broker Portal for the list of delinquency payments.
