NEW: Telehealth Access for Members with Teladoc

In January 2019, Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan will be contracting with Teladoc to provide telehealth access to our members. Teladoc is a nationwide telehealth provider, contracted with more than 3,000 providers in all 50 states. Telehealth services increase patient access to care and can help drive down emergency room visits. This will not replace our recommendation for in-person visits with a member’s primary physician.

Many of Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan providers are already contracted with Teladoc. If you are not currently contracted with Teladoc, you may want to consider it in 2019. Contracting with Teladoc will enable you to be among the telehealth providers treating Ambetter from Superior HealthPlan members remotely, and, if you choose, patients from other plans as well.
