Ambetter Health Premier

Available for 2025 coverage, Ambetter Health Premier insurance plans make it easy to find the right fit. Premier plans cover essential health services and give you access to the broadest network of care providers. You won’t even need referrals to see specialists.

Our Premier plans are available in silver and gold levels. Each metal level provides a balance of monthly premium payment and out-of-pocket expenses. Your total costs will depend on your specific plan and financial situation, but the information below represents the way plans work at each level.

Ambetter Health Value

Value plans are affordable plans that feature a network of specific healthcare providers and hospitals. Value plan members are assigned to a primary care provider (PCP) within a medical group to coordinate care. Referrals are required for most care outside of what the PCP can provide, such as seeing a specialist.

Ambetter Health Value plans are available in select counties in Texas and are in silver and gold plan metal levels. Learn more about our Value plan.

Ambetter Health Virtual Access

Our Virtual Access plans, available only through the end of 2024, provide a virtual primary care experience. With this plan, you can enjoy the convenience of a primary care provider (PCP) no matter where you are. To see a specialist, members will simply request a referral from their Virtual Access PCP.

*Cost sharing may apply when using Virtual 24/7 Care or Virtual Primary Care. Virtual 24/7 Care cost share does not apply to HSA plans until the deductible is met and is only applicable when used through the Virtual 24/7 Care program. Ambetter Health does not provide medical care. Medical care is provided by individual providers which are independent contractors and not agents of Ambetter Health.
