Ambetter from NH Healthy Families to Discontinue Marketplace Coverage Effective December 31, 2026

Ambetter from NH Healthy Families will discontinue its Marketplace product offering in New Hampshire effective December 31, 2026. Coverage will not be available for the 2027 plan year.

What This Means for Providers

• Provider agreements will remain in effect through December 31, 2026.
• No immediate action is required.
• Providers should not proactively outreach to members but should be prepared to address questions.

This change applies only to the Ambetter Marketplace product. NH Healthy Families (Medicaid) and Wellcare PDP (Medicare Prescription Drug plans) will remain in effect in New Hampshire.

Member Transition Information

• Member coverage ends December 31, 2026.
• Open Enrollment: November 1, 2026 – January 15, 2027.
• Members must enroll by December 15, 2026 for January 1, 2027 effective coverage.

Claims and Administration

• Claims for dates of service on or before December 31, 2026 will be processed by Ambetter.
• Standard timely filing requirements apply.
