Pharmacy Benefit Managers Changing from CVS to Express Scripts®

Effective January 1, 2024, your health plan is changing its pharmacy benefit manager from CVS to Express Scripts®.

Any impact to the network (list of participating pharmacies) will be published prior to November 1, 2023, at guide.ambetterhealth.com.

If your pharmacy is impacted by this network change, please visit guide.ambetterhealth.com to find a participating pharmacy close to you. You may ask the new pharmacy to transfer your prescriptions prior to January 1, 2024, to have continued access to your medications.

Important Things to Do:

1. Make sure your pharmacy is in our network. Visit guide.ambetterhealth.com to review your options.
2. Check that your medication is covered under our formulary.
3. If you are currently receiving your prescriptions by mail order, your prescriptions will not automatically transition from CVS to Express Scripts®. Please visit your online member account on January 1, 2024, to re-enroll your mail order prescriptions with Express Scripts®.
4. Start using your new 2024 Ambetter Health member ID card for your prescription drugs on January 1, 2024.
