Support for Ambetter from Peach State Health Members Affected by Recent Wildfires
Date: 04/28/26
If you are an Ambetter Health member living in an affected area of southern Georgia and have been impacted by the recent wildfires, support is available to help you during this time.
Beginning April 23, 2026, Ambetter Health will not cancel coverage for missed premium payments for members living in affected areas during the wildfire state of emergency. This protection will remain in place until further notice from the Georgia Department of Insurance.
Please note: This relief does not mean premiums are forgiven. Any past‑due premiums may still be owed once the emergency period ends.
We also want to make sure you can still get your medicines and health care during this time.
Here’s how we can help:
Get Nurse Advice or Crisis Help Anytime
We understand this may be a stressful time. Our Nurse Advice and Crisis Line is available 24/7. You can call 1-877-687-1180 (TTY 1-877-941-9231) anytime, day or night for help with:
- Medical questions or finding urgent care.
- Crisis support or help finding mental health care.
Getting Non-Emergency Care
We know that health care providers in your area may also be affected. During this time, getting care in your doctor’s office may not be an option.
If you evacuated from your home and need help finding a provider near you, call us at 1-877-687-1180 (TTY 1-877-941-9231), Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST or visit Find a Provider.
We may take more steps to help you get the care you need, depending on how long extra help is needed.
If you have questions, we are here for you. Call Member Services at 1-877-687-1180 (TTY 1-877-941-9231).
Stay safe!
