We are excited to announce a significant enhancement in our service delivery process. Effective June 3rd, Ambetter from Sunshine Health will exclusively process inpatient discharge requests for Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Home Health Care (HHC) through a dedicated fax line.

This transition signifies a pivotal advancement in our business operations. By centralizing and streamlining the authorization process for DME/HHC, we aim to enhance efficiency and expedite approvals, ultimately benefiting both providers and patients.

We urge all providers to utilize the prior authorization form alongside the dedicated fax line for DME/HHC Discharge requests. This strategic shift underscores our commitment to providing patients with timely access to crucial services, leading to improved customer satisfaction and, most importantly, enhanced patient outcomes.
